As the first choice for maths tuition in the Diss area, we are currently able to offer one-to-one maths tuition to support students in Key Stages 2, 3, or 4 (studying for GCSE), home educated children and adult learners wishing to improve their functional skills, study for a GCSE or professional skills tests.

About me
I am a committed, enthusiastic and friendly tutor/mentor with 28 years of teaching experience and up to date knowledge of teaching methods. Since graduating from the University or Reading in 1992, I have taught in a variety of Norfolk schools - both primary and secondary (including an American school here in the U.K.).
I now work as a full-time professional independent private tutor serving students in the local area. I offer 1-2-1 tuition as well as small group tuition, according to my clients' requirements.
I have a proven track record of improving pupil achievement in maths and am able to offer tailor-made tuition to meet individual pupil needs - whether the student is struggling to keep up at school, developing confidence or preparing for exams.
Home Educated children I am happy to work with home educators and their children. As home educating families often have very individual requirements, please get in contact if you would like to discuss options for daytime sessions during school hours (9am-3pm) on weekdays in term-time or school holidays. Online Tuition
Online tuition is particularly convenient for students who are unable to travel to my location for lessons. All you need to be able to access this form of tuition, is a computer, tablet or phone with a webcam. Please click here for more details.
Assistant tutors
Due to high demand for tuition services, since 2019, I have taken on additional tutors in order to keep my waiting list to a minimum. Clients can opt to take maths lessons with Elaine, Gareth, Holly, Jack or Rupert or GCSE English tuition with Tracey.
Where possible, you will be matched with the tutor that is the best 'fit' for your student. Details regarding prices can be found in the table on the FAQs page.
