Last week's peak in enquiries has spilled over into this week and several more have turned into bookings.  The new 9-1 GCSE mocks have really focussed the minds of those who are taking them this summer and there are lots of students out there who are determined to achieve the best possible results.

This really has been my busiest week ever for new enquiries.  Earlier in the week, I received several enquiries, one of which led to a confirmed booking and I have already met the eager GCSE student.

​Today, I received three separate enquiries, which have all led to bookings.  The first of these, I will meet tomorrow, and the others next week.  I have already added another session to my availablity and now have only one regular weekly slot available at 6.30pm on Mondays.

This week some of my students have been making good use of interlocking cubes to investigate some of the mysteries of maths.

My youngest student was using them to investigate how many different ways she could make 10 by grouping the cubes and recording her results, while my Year 5 students investigated square and cubed numbers.  All of them enjoyed their lessons and came away with a greater understanding than they had at the beginning!

During the school holidays there have been some changes to my timetable. These are the days and times I currently have available for regular weekly sessions:-

Monday       2.30 - 3.25pm

Thursday     6.30 - 7,25pm
Saturday     3.30 - 4.25pm
