This spring has certainly been the busiest term in Diss Maths Tutor's history. I have stated to myself, and others, on several occasions that I am fully booked for weekend and after school sessions. Each time, however, I have managed to 'fit in' an extra lesson.
This has proved true this week. A student came for a 'half-term' only lesson and got so much from it that her parents decided they would like her to have a regular slot until she takes her SATs in May. Now, I really don't like not having availability, so have added another extra session to my tuition week.
If you are thinking that you would like to book some tuition in the near future, I strongly recommend that you ask to be placed on my waiting list as empty spaces are filled very quickly. If, however, a regular session becomes available and you are on the waiting list, then I will contact you as soon as the vacancy appears, ensuring that you don't miss out.
I am also able to offer students 'stand-by' lessons. This means that if I get a cancellation, then I may be able to fit you in. Of course, the day and time of these sessions can vary, but with 23 hours of tuition each week, cancellations due to sickness, holidays etc. do occur fairly regularly. Students who are actively on the 'stand-by' lesson list receive first refusal for regular sessions when they become available.
