Year 6 SATs will take place from 8th May - 11th May 2017. I frequently get tuition requests from parents to help prepare their children for these tests. This year, I have decided to offer a Y6 SATs class during the February half term 2017. Please see details at Year 6 SATs Preparation Class . If this proves popular I will run another course during the school Easter holidays. For your information I have listed the dates of the SATs below:-

Maths is a subject which rewards hard work. I have seen it many times where a student who struggles, but keeps on trying, makes more progress than a student who is confident with maths, yet isn't prepared to put in the required effort. Students who work on the ten things listed, certainly make excellent progress.
This is an interesting video for anyone who wants to support their children with their mathematical learning! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytVneQUA5-c&feature=youtu.be
I love to hear feedback from students and their parents. Yesterday evening, the mother of one of my students arrived and was bursting to tell me how impressed she was with her daughter's maths. Apparently, the student (who was terrified of anything mathematical 18 months ago) had been given some weekend homework. Her parents were amazed at what she understood and could do. They are clearly delighted with her progress and it is great that my involvement and her hard work are really paying off!
